Sweet cards in Khans of Takir Empty
PostSubject: Sweet cards in Khans of Takir   Sweet cards in Khans of Takir EmptySun Sep 14, 2014 9:22 am

Some Amazing cards coming end of September!!

My Picks are....

Clever Impersonator - 2UU - Shapeshifter - Mythic

You may have Clever Impersonator enter the Battlefield as a copy of any nonland Permanent
on the battlefield.

Icy Blast - XU - Instant

Tap X target creatures

Ferocious {If you control a creature with power 4 or greater, those creatures don't untap during their controller's next untap step}

Quiet Contemplation - 2U - Enchantment

Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, you may pay 1 . If you do, tap target creature an opponent controls and it doesn’t untap during its controller’s next untap step.

Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker - 3RR

+1: Until end of turn, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker becomes a legendary 4/4 red Dragon creature with flying, indestructible, and haste. (He doesn’t lose loyalty while he’s not a planeswalker.)

-3: Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker deals 4 damage to target creature.

-6: You get an emblem with “At the beginning of your draw step, draw two additional cards” and “At the beginning of your end step, discard your hand.”

See the Unwritten - 4GG - Sorcery - Mythic

Reveal the top eight cards of your library. You may put a creature card from among them onto the battlefield. Put the rest into your graveyard.

Ferocious – If you control a creature with power 4 or greater, you may put two creature cards onto the battlefield instead of one.

Kheru Lich Lord - Wizard Zombie - 3BGU - RARE - 4/4

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may pay 2B . If you do, return a creature card at random from your graveyard to the battlefield. It gains flying, trample, and haste. Exile that card at the beginning of your next end step. If it would leave the battlefield, exile it instead of putting it anywhere else.

Mindswipe - XUR - INSTANT

Counter target spell unless its controller pays x Mana. Mindswipe deals X damage to that spell’s controller.

Narset, Enlightened Master - Legendary Creature Human Monk - Mythic - 3URW

First strike, hexproof

Whenever Narset, Enlightented Master attacks, exile the top four cards of your library. Until end of turn, you may cast noncreature cards exiled with Narset this turn without paying their mana costs.

Surrak Dragonclaw{THE BEST CARD EVER} - Legendary Creature Human Warrior - Mythic - 2GUR - 6/6

Flash

Surrak Dragonclaw can’t be countered.

Creature spells you control can’t be countered.

Other creatures you control have trample.

Villainous Wealth - XBGU - INSTANT - RARE

Target opponent exiles the top X cards of his or her library. You may cast any number of nonland cards with converted mana cost X or less from among them without paying their mana costs

Ugin’s Nexus - Legendary ARTIFACT - 5 - Mythic

If a player would begin an extra turn, that player skips that turn instead. If Ugin’s Nexus would be put into a graveyard from the battlefield, instead exile it and take an extra turn after this one.

Yah that's what i was thinking, would make a good set to start drafting again with. I seen Pox decks get'n a new flavor and wow did they really bring back morph!! But mostly I'm excited to make green blue STD.

Villainous Wealth is a Sorc (as it should be), not an instant. I predict Narset will be this set's most popular EDH commander. She's certainly the one I'd be the most interested in playing. Very Happy

I'll prolly do a few swiss drafts in this set during the prerelease, too.

So...
BUG is Sultai
RUG is Temur
RUW is Jeskai
RWB is Mardu
and
GBW is Abzan

To go with Bant, Grixis, Esper, Naya, and Jund.

IMO, Temur has the coolest ascendancy enchantment AND the coolest charm, tho I like Sultai's enchant, too. Time for Flaky to make a Temur EDH deck. I'm thinking prolly Animar.
